Legacy Sunday: December 18

Once a year on Legacy Sunday, we will present our Legacy Gift, over and above our regular tithes and offerings, for the purpose of being the hands and feet of Jesus in a tangible way and seeing more changed lives.

Purpose of Legacy Gift
It allows us to move beyond our budget and effectively advance the kingdom of God to bring life to everyone, everywhere, every day. When you give, you are directly responsible for accelerating the pace at which our church is able to move forward in these lanes.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Missions

Local Missions
We love the cities in Florida, especially the Miami metropolitan area, and we believe this is our first responsibility where we have influence. Through this lane, we support and grow our vision by partnering with local ministries to reach and help bring life to the people of our communities, cities, and state.

Make yourselves at home there and work for the country’s welfare. Pray for their well-being. If things go well for them, things will go well for you.

National Missions
Our second area of missions focus is our country. We believe the local church is the hope of the world. This lane allows us to launch more life-giving churches nationwide and help already established churches reach more people. It also allows us to support national organizations and ministries who are taking the life-giving message of Jesus to our nation’s capital and across the United States.

And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow.

Global Missions
We believe every person deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus. Through this lane, we partner with organizations and ministries around the world to plant new churches, feed orphans, build homes for the homeless, and rescue those from human trafficking. This offering reflects the heart of our God, who loves the whole world (John 3:16) and responds to the cry of Jesus to “go into all the world” (Matthew 28:19).

Next Generation

One of the greatest investments we can make is to guide young people in their faith and leadership development to change the world for Christ. This lane provides resources and scholarships, and allows us to develop our kids in their faith and leadership and accomplish more than previous generations.

So the next generation might know them—even the children not yet born—and they in turn will teach their own children.

Vive Projects

Through our Vive Projects, we want to see more people experience a life-transforming relationship in Christ and make a difference for Him with their lives. This lane accelerates the vision to create an encouraging environment for us to reach as many people as possible by expanding our ongoing ministries, reviving our campus, and enhancing our online experience.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
